I just finished watching made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan. Hated it. Yes there were funny scenes here and there, but I disliked the over all theme which involved her (Hanna, Michelle’s character) leaving her groom (Colin played by Kevin McKidd) at the alter for another man (Tom played by Dempsey).  Once again, Hollywood tries to convince us that it is ok to break promises and hurt people in order to get what we want. Not. Also, whoever titled the script, ’stole’ the title from a book written by Marilynn Griffith, a Christian women’s fiction author.

I’d love to see a movie where people do the right thing no matter how much it hurts and in the end, it turns out for the better. Those are the kinds of themes that are near and dear to most people’s hearts because we live them everyday. Everyday we are presented with choices, to do good, or to do evil. Character comes from making the right choice, not the easy choice.

Obama continues to evade inquiries about the origin of his nationality. Well, at long last, we will get some answers. So, what happens, if, God forbid, he is elected and the truth is revealed that he is not a US citizen? Will he give up the presidency peacefully? Be prepared. If he goes down, and he is president, Biden steps in. This should never have gotten this far without resolution. Obama should have been removed from the ballot and Hillary substituted instead. If he cannot uphold our nation’s laws as a candidate, you know he will not as president.
