I thought Matt Damon was the only loon that thought it a matter of dire importance that in order for Sarah Palin to be considered qualified to be v.p., or president should McCain ‘pop off’ during his imminent presidency which is HIGHLY unlikely, she had to believe dinosaurs existed millions of years ago. This is so absurd, I can barely write! I will try to persevere. Apparently, he is not alone. many a self serving, self worshiping liberal has jumped on this ridiculous band wagon. Now, Some guy Robert Paul Reyes, whoever he is, thinks that during tonight’s v.p. debate, Sarah Palin, future v.p., should be questioned on whether or not she believes in dinosaurs and when they existed.
I think the dems are panicking. The dinosaur issue and her flub while being interviewed by Katie Couric are not their only gripes against her, but right now, they are the loudest. So, Obama, who has even less experience than Palin and is running for president is a better candidate because he is a slick and charismatic public speaker? Well, that’s liberal, ‘logic’ for you.
As far as the possibility of Palin acting as president because McCain might die is unfounded and ridiculous. sure, he is a bit older, but it’s not as if the man is on life support! if anything, I think that after all he has been through, it sounds like he is tough and has a strong will to live. There have only been 2x in our history where a v.p. had to step in and take over. That is <1%!
Here are some links to stories and sites about dinosaurs and whether or not they existed at the same time as humans.
LINK2- contains responses to the idea of what would happen to e the theory of evolution should human remains be found in or near dinosaur remains, hint, it would not be good for evolution theorists.
LINK 3- large cat track found with dinosaur tracks. Oops, bye, bye, evolution!
LINK 4-More foot prints at The Creation Science page. I added this one so you could see how desperate evolutionists are to preserve their skewed view.
There’s a very good reason why evolution is still being called a theory.
Tech Hubby and I went to Florissant, CO yesterday. We stopped at this coffee house. As usual, click on the photo because bigger is better when it comes to pixels.
Here is the front porch.
Check out this great chair and what may be an end table. Love the light shining in from the window. Doesn’t it make you want to grab a book and tuck in for the day?
How about this lamp? I’d like one or two of these, please.
Ceiling lights. What a great idea to place the glass over them.
The best part of this coffee house though, was in the bathroom and I can’t show it to you until Pink Saturday. I know, I know, but come back, it’s worth it! When I saw it I wondered if they’d notice it hiding under my shirt. Just kidding, maybe, only because God might be reading this…that’s a joke. Hello? Is this thing on?
The aspen are changing. I got some great shots on the way up.They would be even better if my camera wasn’t acting up. I tried my best to adjust the colors.
I’m so jazzed about this next photo. Why? Because in the area where I live, we have open fields of cactus and yucca and it is dry and crackly everywhere you walk. The ground is just not that pretty.
Look! CLOVER! It’s not just the name of a pygmy goat that hates to be milked. (private joke unless you read Chickens in the Road)
Just look at all that beautiful clover mixed in amung the aspen leaves. I could have stared at it for hours. Seriously, it was that beautiful. Not all of the mountain had the clover. It was a few feet into the wooded areas. We were visiting the people who help run praise Mountain. Here is a prayer cave.
Yes, of course you read it right! It had a chair a bible and a potbellied stove. There were a couple of them. Going on retreat at Praise Mountain means fasting, praying and praising God in an effort to draw nearer to Him. The cabins or very nicely built, comfortable furnished, running water, propane stoves to keep warm, it looked like a nice place to hang out while waiting to hear from the Lord.
The couple we visited have 6 children! Great kids, lots of noise. lol
They have goats, llamas, a green house as well as an outdoor summer garden. The wife makes cheese with the goat’s milk. I tried some of different varieties, they were all tasty! She also cans and she offered to teach me cheese making and pickle canning next time I come up. I can hardly wait! We had tea in her kitchen with the kids and the husbands joined us too.
She home schools her kids. I don’t know about you, but I NEVER, EVER, begged my mom about anything having to do with school. In fact, it was the last place I ever wanted to be. The first time I went to school, I chased the car down the street when my mom drove away! There is was, in her rear view mirror, legs pumping for all I was worth!. I tell you this, because these kids were begging their mom to do school stuff.
“Mom, can we do school stuff?” I think that it is great that home schooling is such a positive event for these kids. My nephew also loves it. This is his first year and he loves being able to take the time to do the lesson and ask questions and have individual attention while learning.
By the time I left, with a big baggie of home made cheese in my hand, a cool rock in my purse, my heart was full too! I had a smile on my face the whole evening. I love getting together with people who bless you so much.
I know this was a long post. Thanks for hanging in there and I hope you’ll come back for Pink Saturday to see the surprise.
