Do you prefer to read your Jane, or watch it?
Or both? If so, in what order? Read first or watch?

If she were a man and part of the ‘good ol’ boy’ network, would he have been so rude to her?
I, personally, do not believe climate change is totally and wholly, the fault of people. Remember, dinosaurs used to roam around various parts of the world. It had to be very warm for them to do that. Parts of the world, even where it snows, used to be tropical in climate. Who knows? Perhaps our global climate is supposed to be warmer but a cataclysmic event cooled the earth and now it is just starting to thaw, and get back to normal. There’s no proof that the earth was always this climate and that being warmer is wrong.
I have eight of these cute dessert plates. Four are these vintage couture plates and four are Paris post cards. They were not come all in the same box, but I love how they all go together, kind of. The second picture is more correct hue wise.
Happy Pink Saturday everyone and thank you for all the lovely comments last time. Oh, here is the recipe for the shortbread cookies you see in the first picture. No, they will not come out of the oven looking yellow! lol
Tea Flavored Tea Bisquits
2 C all purpose flour
2 TBS finely ground tea (I used four bags of, jasmine green/black tea)
1/2 tsp of salt (next time I make these, I will reduce to 1/4 tsp)
1 C (2 sticks) softened butter (un-salted)
1/2 C confectioner’s sugar, sifted
1/4 tsp vanilla (this is optional. It does over power the flavor of the tea leaves. I’m going to make this recipe again w/o the vanilla)
Depending on what type of tea you use, grate some orange peel into the butter/sugar part coming up if you want. The original recipe was made with Earl Grey and used grated orange peel.
In small to medium bowl, cream together the butter, powdered sugar (confectioner’s sugar) vanilla, if using, and/or orange peel. Set aside. In another, separate bowl, combine the four, tea and salt. Gradually add the flour/tea mix to the butter/sugar mix until just incorporated. Divide the dough and roll into two, even logs and refrigerate for an hour until firm. Slice into one inch pieces and bake ina pre-heated 350 oven for 13-15 minutes.
Enjoy!
