Now that summer is coming and the kiddos are out of school, what are you up to these days? I went to the

with my sister and her son and his cousin. We went there to see the new baby

this isn’t the brand, brand new one. This was one of several that had been born a few months ago. The newest one was still in the main giraffe house staying close to momma’s side. She was so cute and tiny. I tried to get a picture, but she was distracted by the news team.

We did see a dancing porcupine, and a young grizzly bear trying to fish for trout in his enclosure. The fish were always just out of reach.

I’m now off to take a shower. The zoo tends to ’stay with you’ if you know what I mean. If you don’t think, ‘cat box smell’ and you’ll get the idea.
