We use a swamp cooler in our pup's outdoor pen. The dog loves it! On warm days she curls up right by the outlet. We always make sure to bring her into the air conditioning on the really hot days, though. Swamp coolers are nice because unlike air conditioners with power hungry compressors, swamp coolers just have fans and water pumps.
