Today is Tea Tuesday. As I sit here sipping my Tetley tea, I am watching videos and visiting websites of those who would prevent the silencing of Christians and who daily fight for our rights which are being eroded by the liberal left. Active Christian Media is a site I’ve been following off and on for a couple of years now. I like that it is a woman’s site and blog. Why? Woman have historically been at the axis of change. Tea and activism go together like bread and jam. There is nothing wrong with Christians standing up for their rights. Invite ladies over for a cuppa and to discuss the rights of Christians and what is happening to our rights in the country founded by Christians. If we remain silent now, we could risk being silenced forever.
Here, with permission, is the post from Active Christian Media regarding Sally Kern who is under attack for standing up against the homosexual agenda.
I was very encouraged today when I listen to Janet Parshall’s America because Janet discussed what has happened with Sally Kern for her whole three hours. It was a great program, and I know from listening to Janet’s program for a number of years now that when she is passionate about a subject, and she has the time, she will cover the same topic for all three hours of her show. She did that today, and if you’re interested you can listen online at Janet Parshall’s America or the WAVA archives.
Meanwhile, Peter LaBarbera has posted the latest press release from Sally because, as is typical, you can’t trust the reporting of the homosexual media. The following is snagged from Pete’s site.
Oklahoma State Rep. Sally Kern (R) issued the following statement today regarding a 30-minute meeting she had yesterday with representatives from the pro-homosexual group PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). Kern said PFLAG’s account of the meeting — which has been spread around on homosexual websites — misrepresented her statements and intent:
As a state representative who is always willing to meet with any and all of my constituents on any issue with an open and sincere dialog, it is apparent from the statement released by PFLAG that their “open dialog” was for the purpose of politicizing the conversation to their benefit.
While I did meet with PFLAG in what was a cordial and polite meeting, they have taken my statements and have spun them to make it appear that I am backing off my comments that homosexuality is a sin. As a Christian who believes in the authority of God’s Word, I will never retract my comments that homosexuality is a sin.
PFLAG has also spun my words to say that I am in favor of “sexual orientation” laws. I unequivocally do not support “sexual orientation” laws. While I do not advocate employers going on a witch hunt to fire homosexual employees who are performing their jobs in a manner just like any heterosexual employee, I do not support laws that would force employers to check their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion, speech, and association at the workplace door.
Since PFLAG has shown their lack of integrity by misinterpreting my statements from our meeting to fit their agenda — thus revealing their purpose of open dialog to be just a means of seeking to weaken my position and strengthen theirs — I see no benefit in having future meetings with them.
God’s Word does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Word expresses His moral character. Therefore, my opinion also will not change.

And if you’re like me and you want to support Sally Kern and let her know that more people support her than hate her and wish her dead, like the homosexual activists do, then join me in supporting her by donating a $33.00 donation to Faith 2 Action so that F2A can help buy ad space defending her in the paper.
In case you’re wondering the $33.00 figure was given by Janet Folger simply to distinguish between other totals when ordering her products. And incidentally, while you’re there, buy a copy of The Criminalization of Christianity. You’ll love it.
My husband and I bought a six pack of canned air the other day, you know, the stuff you spray on your key board to clean it? Well, 3M added a bittering agent to the recipe to ‘discourage inhalant abuse’ that’s not all they’ve discouraged. We are taking back the cans to where we purchased them and will be getting our money back. The bitter smell and taste do not only affect those who try to abuse the product, but also those of us who are using the product is intended. This is called, ‘Nanny State’, and means that corporations are governing people, and how they use their products in order to prevent law suits. I do not need a nanny. I do not need to be punished (and using this product feels like punishment) for the actions of those who never learned to, ‘just say, no’. Using 3M’s new canned air formula leaves a nasty taste in your mouth and lingers in the air long after you are done spraying. Can you imagine a large office of people spraying this product? 3M, I do not need you to Nanny me! Stop punishing your customers for the actions of others!
