A pack of 80 tea bags costs £1.79, yet an Indian tea farmer earns only 15p . The 24 Hour Tea and Coffee Break is held during Fair Trade Fortnight and highlights the plight of poor farmers throughout the world.

You can also ask your server at your restaurant or your grocery store for ETP teas or fair trade teas and coffees. These come from tea and coffee estates that are monitored for the care of the workers and good prices for the farmers.
