Brook Shields gets the gold star on her forehead award for reaching out to Briney Spears.

While many in Hollywood are content to merely comment on Briney and her odd behavior lately, Brook has extended her hand to Britney and I hope Britney responds to the gesture in a positive and life changing way. The last thing that needs to happen is another Anna Nicole.

Would Anna still be alive today had someone bothered to reach out to her instead of cashing in on her odd behavior? I would like to believe she would. Both Anna and Britney are sending strong messages out that I hope young people are receiving that who you associate with in life really does have an impact on you whether or not you choose to believe that it does.

I do not have to list any facts to support this when the media is doing a fine job of supplying pictures as proof. After all, a picture really is worth one thousand words.

So my question to you is this: How have you reached out to someone in need today? When was the last time you invited someone over for a cuppa? It is not too late. Pick up the phone and invite someone into your world and shine a light into the darkness.
